This concept is the consequence of Lorenzo Baños Hernández non-profit pretensions. Mechanical Engineer by the University of Stuttgart in Germany, I've focused my studies on Vehicle Enginering and Hydraulic Machinery and Numerical Fluid mechanics. A growing interest for hydraulic systems and almost two years of experience in the R&D of wave energy devices (OWC and Point Absorbers) has led me to share the experience.
This has been only possible thanks to the supporting team behind. From Europe, passing through the United States, people from different countries all over the world have contributed with their know-how from companies, universities & other institutions. e.g. P. Frigaard, Head of the Department for Civil Engineering at the University Aalborg in Denmark and supervisor of my research. Then, Dr.-Ing. A. Ruprecht, Vice-Head of the IHS at the Stuttgart University in Germany and first person to support the idea. And last but not least, Dr.-Ing. A. Clement, Head of the ECN in France, who introduced me to the SEAREV project. Further support has been incentivated by active participation in the International Offshore Renewable Energy INORE Group funded by STATKRAFT & other institutions. The purpose behind this social network is to group researchers from abroad through regularly taking-place events. In Denmark, current participation in the Danish Bolgekraftforeningen is opening new paths for collaboration.
